Hello! My name is RJ Vandercook. I am a licensed advanced cosmetologist, I also have my cosmetology instructor license. I have been licensed and working behind the chair for 8 years. I currently work at Beyond Salon and Spa located in Ashtabula, Ohio as a full service cosmetologist. I specialize in custom hair color and extensions. We use Cinderella Hair Extensions and have six different methods of applying extensions. 

I graduated from the adult cosmetology program at A-tech in 2012. Since receiving my license, I have taken many advanced classes with Aveda - specializing in color. Some other classes I have taken include:

I also work at Raphael's School of Beauty in Willoughby, Ohio where I am the campus manager and senior cosmetology instructor. I thoroughly enjoy educating my students as well as doing hair behind the chair.

When I'm not working at the salon or at the school, I am researching latest hair trends and taking continuing education courses so I can better myself for my students and my clients!

I believe every person should feel beautiful. You wear your hair everyday, it's something your should take pride in! There is nothing better than having a client tell me I made them feel better because of my work.
